If fashion is destined for the street, Dolce & Gabbana decided to illustrate as much but sending models straight from the catwalk to the street outside the brand’s HQ, where another elevated catwalk was waiting to indulge the screaming fans outside. It was a savvy move, especially for this collection, which was its most ordinary-luxe in a long time. Save for the super skimpy, sequinned, flapper-inspired shifts that ended the show, the cargo pants, shearling-lined parkas, studded denim jackets, and power blazers worn with T-shirts immediately found their urban camouflage
