During their recent appearance on Vogue’s Off the Cuff series, Pascal and Johnson engaged in a quick-fire question-and-answer round where the two divulged personal information to one another, spanning several topics.
Towards the middle section of the interview, Pedro Pascal asked Dakota Johnson about what her childhood nickname was. She quietly replied, “Coqui,” before Pascal reiterated the word in a sarcastic manner. As the pair failed to control their laughter, Johnson explained that her nickname was “spelled the way the frog is spelled; C-O-Q-U-I.” In response, Pascal once again repeated her name in a Spanish accent before exclaiming, “Cock.”
After a brief moment of awkwardness, Johnson responded, “Yeah, my nickname as a little girl was cock, you f—— idiot.” At this point, the Game of Thrones alum started laughing hysterically. As Pascal struggled to speak, Dakota Johnson jokingly stated, “Get out. I’ll do this with somebody else.” After regaining his breath, Pascal remarked, “I’m gonna suffocate,” while continuing to laugh.
